The Caffery’s Family Shoot

As a photographer, there aren’t many better compliments than being hired by another creative of the industry. Actually, not just “another”, one the best! Kevin is one of the best wedding videographers in the land, adored equally by his peers as he is by his couples. You can find his amazing work here. In this case, it was my second time being asked to photograph a special day for Kevin and Louise. The first was their wedding back in 2022. This time, it was to celebrate their daughter Florence’s first birthday with a small family gathering at home.

I arrived to their beautiful home and was greeted with big hugs from the grown-ups, a belly rub acceptance from Wilbur (Kevin refused unfortunately), and the most adorable smile and a sippy cup cheers from baby Florence. Instantly smitten, I knew the day would be full of lovely little moments as she was doted on by everyone in the house.

It was so nice to reconnect with Kevin and Louise’s families. Honestly, I felt like part of it for a few hours, which was an honour.

I left with a big smile on my face and a belly full of a seriously good vegan burger and so many other delicious treats. Pretty sure that working is not supposed to be this enjoyable!
