Testing testing.. 8, N, D.

This is just a little test shot really.  I got a new ND filter for the camera the other day and thought I’d test it during a sunset to see just how long I could keep the shutter open.  With my remote shutter controller I set the camera up to point toward the sunset and left the shutter open for around 20 minutes.  The results were that the sky was completely blown out so as a colour shot it was no use, but when converted to a nice strong contract black and white it came out quite nice.

Street lights has just turned on and passing traffic leave their trails.

Now I just need to find somewhere nice in town to get some more of these mega long exposures. Ideas welcome.
