Well, what a day. It was an absolute scorcher! The car thermometer read 24 degrees (surely not?) and the air-con had to be switched to the icicle setting.
I took a drive to Malahide, along with the rest of Dublin who had exactly the same idea, with camera and tripod in tow. I came across a process on the web recently in which you take a 360 degree panorama shot and using some computer wizardry you can turn your shots into a little mini globe. I thought the entrance to Malahide Castle might be the perfect place as the surrounding area is beautiful.
So here it is… the finished article. I highly recommend opening the larger version if the image using the link at the bottom of the slideshow.

The other shots where taken on the way home. The south side of the docks looked spectacular as they caught the colour of the setting sun.
