Staying alive…

After a weekend which was spent between Moville, Magillian, Limavady, Derry and Donegal town, I thought I might as well continue the tour with a stop off in Bundoran for a night to see if I could get some surfing in before my return to Dublin.

I was advised to go to Tullan Strand as it’s best for people like me (absolute beginners). However when I arrived and my eyes took in the sight before me I could only think of two things. The first was death. The second was that i didn’t like the sound of the first thing i thought of. Rather than venture out I decided on a safer approach. Take some photos.

The next day things weren’t much better so I was advised by another surfer to head to Rossnowlagh as “at least there would be people on the beach who may be able to rescue you if you run into trouble”. Encouraging words.

Anyway – I was fine. I got my surf in and after I walked along the beach to take more photos. It’s a beautiful spot, even on a day like Monday when it seemed as though all of the worlds wind gathered to work as team.

Anyway – here are the shots.
