Can’t build a snowman – don’t worry, have a fight!

On Saturday night we built the most beautiful snowman. When I say snow’man’, it was more snow’woman’, but either way – it was great. It had limes for eyes, a red chilli for a mouth, a lovely head of leafy hair and as for her body, let’s just say, she was blessed.

I took a time lapse of the building process but the remote shutter control that I used ran out of batteries after about 40 shots, so I have zero evidence of the build. Just to prove that she existed though, here she is.

The I’m an aunty sign is a reference to some good news that our snow lady received that night.

So, anyway – we just tried to build another one. The snow has been really coming down in Waterford and it looked like the perfect conditions. I setup the camera, put new batteries into the shutter control and after putting on layer after a layer of clothing out we went for take 2.

It was useless though - the snow was too flakey and after a few attempts (pretty feeble I might add) to try and roll the snow it was soon clear that there was only one thing we could do.

Have a snowball fight!

Who won? Hard to tell but I think I definitly came inside with more snow down my back.
