This is one wedding I’ve been dying to show you all. Some of you who follow me on twitter may have seen a couple of images I posted from my iphone a few saturdays ago. The shots were from Sheena and Dave’s wedding in Coolbawn Quay, Co. Tipperary.

Sheena and Dave put so much effort into how their whole day would look – the details blew everyone away, including me and I’m sure you’ll all agree that this is on pretty spectacular wedding full of beautiful DIY details.

When I arrived that morning I met David in the bar and he was quick to take me on a quick tour – funny actually because the last time I was taken on a tour of a wedding venue it was also by the groom at Coolbawn Quay (Karl and Maria’s wedding). I guess that Coolbawn is just one of those places you want to show off.

I had difficulty in describing Coolbawn the last time I wrote about it so I’ll stick to what I said the last time – it’s basically like you’ve set foot onto a movie set of how American’s who’ve never been to Ireland would imagine Ireland to be. It’s like a little village, cottages dotted in and around a meandering path which all lead to the pub – as any good town in Ireland should.

I really could write about this wedding all day long but in all honesty the pictures will tell you all you need to know. Quite honestly it was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever shot. Everything was really thought through. You’ll see the details for yourselves. Here are just a few things to look out for… The painted sign as you arrive at Coolbawn Quay, The wicker heartshaped chalkboard hanging on the wall inside the the bridal suite, the socks for the boys, the glasses for the bridal party, Sheena’s amazing dress and stunning headpiece, the beautiful ribbons in the church, the order of service booklets, the little tags on each and every straw all handmade by Sheena, the dessert table, the bunting, the paper pom poms, sweet bags, table plans! I could on as the list seems endless but you’ll see it all for yourself.

This is only a very small snippet from their day but is by far the biggest post I’ve ever done – there was just too much to share really.

I can’t thank Sheena and Dave enough for choosing me to be their photographer. I had an amazing day and to be a guest at this wedding must have been incredible – for all of those that were invited, could yourselves very lucky indeed!
