My new favourite venue, Dunbrody Country House

Last Monday I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the wedding of Karl and Jenni in the amazing surroundings of Dunbrody House. They had a civil ceremony which takes place in Dunbrody’s entrance hall which was a totally beautiful affair with a small crowd including Karl’s uncle on keyboard playing music by Badly Drawn Boy. It was just so intimate.
Anyway – I’ll save the rest of the details on Karl and Jenni’s day until I blog it later, which I definitely will blog by the way.
What I’m here to share with you now is a short video I made of some of the finer details that Dunbrody House has to offer in terms of it’s grounds. They are a sight to behold. I’m not really a fan of those pristine gardens with immaculate rose bushes and what have you, but what I love about Dundrody is the wildness of it all although I’m sure every ounce of care is taken to ensure it’s very natural beauty.
So, as a tip of the cap to Karl and Jenni’s wonderful choice of music here is my little video backed by the brilliant Badly Drawn Boy. Enjoy.

Beautiful video Dave, it really captures the atmosphere of Dunbrody and of the day itself. And I love the shots of the bumblebees! Looking forward to seeing the photos!
