Erin and Marianne at Clonabreany House

I had a chat with a couple of photographer pals of mine recently and we all agreed that I put far too many images into my featured wedding posts. I mean, who wants to look at well over 100 images from someone’s wedding? So, with that in mind I tackled this new featured wedding with a more aggressive attitude to bring you the bare bones and show you just the essentials… no fluff.

So, how many images did I manage to cull this wedding down to? 151.  Oh.
You’ll have to trust me though. This is one awesome wedding and there was just no way I could skimp on it. I want to give it the justice it deserves.

This wedding had it all. Our super cool bride and groom in the form of Marianne and Erin who knew exactly what they wanted and managed to pull of the most amazing wedding in only 6 months of planning! As for the wedding itself, it was an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Loughcrew Gardens, there was a Chinese tea drinking ceremony included, an array confetti fireworks at the end, a black taxi laid on by Clonabreany House,  a tea and scone reception in Plunkett House, a Chinese Lion dance back at Clonabreany House and then one of most frantic dances I think I’ve ever had the good fortune to photograph / escape unharmed from!

A lot of Erin’s family made it all the way over from Singapore and must surely be going back home thinking – “What just happened?! That was bonkers!”
Mind you, in saying that Erin’s father made the most incredible after speech toast ever and I think pretty much everyone in the room thought that he was a little bonkers – in a good way ;)

Congratulations to Marianne and Erin for the most amazing day and thank you for having me there to photograph it for you. A real pleasure.
