Real Wedding – Aideen and Rob

No more sneak peaks. I promise. From now on it’s full wedding posts. Okay? You have my word. Well, not until the next time anyway.

So then, to kick things off we have the wedding of Aideen and Rob. Aideen and Rob are what I now refer to as – The ice-cream couple. A few of you may remember the ice-cream shots from a while back. I remember I couldn’t wait to get home from the wedding that evening because I was looking forward to seeing the pictures from that day so much!

The Fog! It’s coming!

Yesterday when walking along the Liffey towards the O2 on what was a scorcher of a day here in Dublin with hardly a cloud in sight against a perfect blue sky, I noticed in the distance that the Poolbeg chimneys or simply ‘the chimneys’ as I call them, were almost completely engulfed in a mist that was pouring in from the sea. The wind was quite strong and the mist was moving quickly so as soon as I got back to my place, I grabbed the camera and drove over to Sandymount beach to try and get something decent.

Here are the results.

To see them nice and big click here on on either of the images above. All prints can also be ordered within the slideshows.

Dave.

At last!!!

Well after much upness, downness, blankness and messiness this new site is finally getting there.

I’ve been hard at work trying to get my slideshows in order and have just about managed it. I’ve used a similar setup to my old site but I think this one is even more nifty. Try them and see. They are listed on the right sidebar under My Gallery. To get back to this site just press the back button on your browser window.

The pictures will appear as if they are on a tiltable table. You can enlarge each image by simply clicking on it. (simply clicking is actually exactly the same as normal clicking). To reduce the image just click again.

You’ll also notice a little circular symbol at the bottom of each image too. Clicking (simply or normally) will flip the picture around to display some details, like the title or description. I’ve tried to be creative with my titles and descriptions, but honestly for some images it’s hard to expand, for example ’Wet sand’… says it all really.

At present I only have titles and descriptions for Animals, Assorted, and Flora [update 3rd April - and Great Outdoors] . I’ll be working on getting the rest in order over the next day or two.

(now for the science part)
