I’ve just returned from my first visit to New York where I shot a friend’s wedding. Congratulations Richard and Aisling on what was an absolutely beautiful day. You really picked an amazing part of the world.
Aside from the wedding I did manage to get out and about around Manhattan and was able to get some non-wedding photography squeezed in.
The trouble with New York however is, what has not already been photographed? The Empire State and Chrysler buildings have to be two of the most recognizable buildings in the world. Times Square is a place I had never been too but I knew exactly what it looked like – granted that it was incredibly impressive in the flesh. So because of that, I tried to keep my lens focused on street level.
tried….. however sometimes I just couldn’t resist. It is New York afterall…
